Back up photos safely and share them with your HouseWow^® Consultant using Picasa, Googles free online back up service for your photographs

Picasa is a great way to back up your photos and ensure that you don't lose your pictures; even if your hard drive crashes.

Its also a fast, easy and safe way to share chosen images with a HouseWow Consultant so that we can give you advice on styling to update your home or home staging for selling purposes.

You can upload the digital photos to a safe and secure personal area on Googles picasa and then send your HouseWow consultant a convenient link to a specific file of photos at Picasa.

We only see the one file you chose to give us access to.

Make sure that as you upload images you tick to make the photos 'unlisted' - or private. This means that they won't be available on the internet.

Step 1

Save your digital images from your camera to a hard drive on your computer in the usual way.

Step 2

Open a picasa account via www.picasaweb.google.com

Follow the steps to download picasa software to your PC. This software allows you to make changes to your pictures and upload them to Google picasa safe server.

Step 3

Upload your chosen pictures to a new file at picasa and name with your customer name and the name or address of your property.

Step 4

Open the album on picasa. Ensure each album is marked as 'unlisted' so that you are not showing it to outside users that you don't chose to see the pictures.

Step 5

Organise and re-order your photos

Click picasa 'edit ' on the menu and click organise and re-order - move the pictures about in thumbnail, put into a relevant sequence of front of property, through rooms,to gardens as necessary etc.
