What is the House Wow! service?

House wow is a service offering property styling advice, supplies and services throughout the UK

House wow aims to create wow factor in any property, retail outlet or accommodation.

House wow trained consultants are licensed to offer property styling services within certain post code areas. 

A House wow initial appointment offers advice, written recommendations and a quotation.

Is the service available near me?

Put your post code into the search box to find your nearest House Wow™ Property Stylist.

Insert a preferred appointment date and time (am/pm/evening) into the Stylists diary.

If a Stylist is shown as available with an appointment at the time you prefer then book a provisional appointment.  An email will be sent to you and your local Property Stylist. The Property Stylist will ring to confirm the booking.

How much will it cost?

A House wow initial consultation is  £95.00 

Allow up to 2 hours for an in-depth review of your home's presentation. The House wow™  consultant will give you advice on styling and best layout. The consultant may bring some sample lifestyle accessories to show you at the first appointment.  Afterwards the consultant will send you written recommendations and a quotation. If your Estate Agent purchased the appointment service they will receive a copy of the report.  

A House wow to sell full day property styling 

After the initial consultation and quotation a styling day may be booked.  The consultant may have suggested a number of room accessory packs and will organise purchase of everything.  On the House Wow! day  a consultant will dress the property ensuring that the stylish accessories are placed in ideal locations and groupings. The property will be left presented well to sell. Sit back and watch as a professional property stylist turns your home into a stylish home ready for the property market. We use your existing furniture and effects to best effect .

A House wow half day -  4 hrs

Less work required?  Half a day may be enough. If we can complete in half a day we certainly will.

Full declutter day  

 A declutter day will remove unwanted personal possessions and clear space. Focussed support will help you to decide on charity shop, dustbin, recylce or to sell on.  We can advise on time required but you can decide on the quantity of time you purchase.  House Wow! declutters will tell you how many rooms they are likely to be able to sort out within the time. They can leave you with a declutter hit list and advice on starting things off or finishing off if you wish.

House wow accessory options

Choose from a range of accessory packs from bathroom packs to luxury Master bedroom makeover with a bedding pack consisting of duvet cover, 4 pillows in pillow cases, 1 throw and 2 cushions, 2 pieces of wall art and a lifestyle accessory.  Choose from partial property or full house pack purchase options  Additional items arranged as required - we will dress the whole house or just one room.  Full quotation with a breakdown of items to be included will be provided after the initial appointment.

What happens at a styling to sell initial appointment?

A House wow  Consultant will visit you at home and walk around the property, as a viewer would, taking in all the details and assessing the presentation. They will then give you a response to what they have seen from a viewers perspective. After this the consultant will advise you on how to best present the property for a faster sale. This will include advice on layout and style. After the consultation you will be provided with a quotation for a styling day, accessories and any decluttering or cleaning that we recommend.

How can I rely on the service?

The House Wow licensees are trained and sign up to the professional code of conduct. You can expect a quality service with reliable standards reflecting the House Wow ideals of a quality customer service offering quality products. The consultants are trained, accredited by the Home Staging Network and confirm public liability insurance.

How do I pay?

You pay the Consultant for the Initial Consultation at the visit. The House wow consultant will give you a receipt immediately and then send you a confirmation invoice by post.  For other services or items the Consultant will arrange payment by the most suitable means. Payment in full in advance is required before receipt of goods and services.

Complimentary photography 

The House wow  consultant can offer to take photographs after any House wow day or half day service and supply these on a CD ROM for the customer and the Estate Agent for re-marketing purposes.  However, in event of any technical failure or events outside of our control such as postal problems this may not always be possible.

Terms of services and supplies

The detailed terms are for your safety, security and that of House Wow consultants. Please check anything that you are unsure of with your House wow Consultant before taking out services or buying products.  House wow cannot accept responsibility for cancelled appointments although we will always endeavour to re-timetable and find an alternative consultant. 

House wow Consultants do not give structural advice and are not authorised to give structural advice as part of the House Wow service. Before undertaking any structural alterations or major repairs to a property you are strongly advised to seek relevant professional advice from a suitably qualified architect or builder.

Charges: fees for consultations will be charged at the rates stated and terms of payment for an initial appointment are that payment is required at the consultation. Cheques and payments will be receipted and an invoice will follow.

A House Wow! Initial assessment appointment in the property will take approximately 1to 2  hours and the majority of the house will be viewed and discussed during this time. However, cellars and loft spaces without a full staircase are not included and the consultant maintains the right to exclude any areas at any time. Advice is generally of a cosmetic nature and therefore fixtures, fittings and structural issues are not covered.

Advice and information is given in good faith and the client should satisfy themselves, before taking action as a result of information found on this web site or information provided by consultants licensed to operate under the trading name of House Wow; that they are satisfied with the cost effective measures recommended.  House Wow excludes liability for any loss, injury or inconvenience caused by using the information on the web site or information provided by a Consultant.

Property prices: House Wwow! Property Stylists do not give property valuations and are not authorised to give property valuations as part of the service.

The Styling to Sell service offers suggestions to improve property appearance which are recognised to increase property appeal to buyers. However we cannot guarantee a faster sale or an increase in property value as the housing market conditions are outside of our control. 

House Wow! property stylists are not authorised to suggest changes to decorations within the House Wow! service.  House Wow Managers are authorised to advise on decorations and provide written recommendations and quotations or third party quotations for painting and decorating.

House Wow! takes all reasonable measures to ensure that the licensed consultants/property stylists and Managers trading under the House wow name are trained and insured to offer quality goods and services. 

House Wow! Property Stylist and Managers are licensed to trade under the House Wow trading name.  All services contracted are contracted directly with  the consultant/property stylist/manager concerned and neither House Wow nor its Directors can be held liable for losses or liabilities howsoever caused.  

House Wow will follow up any complaint from customers contracting the services of licensees of the House Wow service. We will endeavour to take action in order to ensure a high level of service offered to House Wow customers.
