Working in the design industry for over 20 years Susie has a wealth of experience in all areas of residential and commercial Design. Creating decor schemes, layout plans, sourcing and ordering furniture and products to fulfil varied design briefs in both a large design practice and her own design business, design Fix since 2007.

Graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA(hons) in 3D Design in 1994 (Majoring in interior design but also studying furniture and product design), Susie has worked in graphic design and achieved an HND in Graphic Design.

Driven by the passion to make interior design accessible and affordable, Susie formed 'Design Fix' specialising in creative, cost effective interior design, show homes and styling for the home.

Home Staging to Sell

"I requested a makeover for five rooms in my house as I was wanting to sell and thought it needed updating however the budget was quite tight. I'd known Susie for quite a while and knew I could put my trust in her and also knew she had a fabulous creative eye for detail. Susie visited us out of normal hours as we both work, armed with fabric swatches, wallpaper books and paint swatches. I wouldn't have known where to start but she asked lots of questions about what we liked and disliked about the rooms, colours we were drawn to and how we could have a beautiful house that wouldn't cost the earth. After choosing the fabrics, paper and paint everything arrived very quickly and we got to work. The outcome is we now have a beautiful house. Home Styling for a New Build Property

I purchased a new build property and moved to a new area. I first met Susie through the interior designers for the show house. I had only taken sofa bed and TV so really was working with nothing, as they were all going. Susie came to my house the week I moved in June we chatted about idea's and colour schemes a couple of weeks later Susie came back with an amazing book which must have taken days to prepare there was a page for every room, lounge kitchen hallway landings 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which included fabrics for blinds cushions wall paper samples and all the furniture light fittings lamps etc. Susie ordered everything and had it delivered to her unit, she organised the decorator electrician window dresser to fit the blinds, she even came up with an underwater theme for my grandchildren's bedroom, it looks fantastic and they love it!!! The day Susie and her team arrived to fit everything and dress the house I was away on business, Susie sent me lots of pictures but in the end I had to drive back to see if for myself. All my guests are wowed by the detail Susie is such a perfectionist in everything she does and I feel very lucky to have met such a talented lady. Needless to say I love going home to my house and can't believe it's mine.
